Starting Modular Kit Production and Tiling Texture Development

This month marked the official start of production on my Adventure Game environment. Using Maya, I began building a modular architectural kit that fits within the design language of titles like Diablo IV and The Ascent. My focus was on consistent scale, proper pivot placement, and grid-snapping to ensure clean modularity. I also began planning out a tiling texture set that I’ll use across surfaces like floors, walls, and ceilings to maintain visual consistency. Blocking out the layout for 10+ interconnected rooms has helped me plan out progression and gating early in the process. I’m excited to start replacing graybox geometry with finalized models soon.
